And this is a dish of braised crocodile. I ate this in Cambodia. I did! I ate this and it was marginally more palatable than the razor clams - but only just. Just off for a Private Heave.
I feel guilty eating chicken these days. I'm a vegetarian (at heart) who just can't make it because every so often she craves a big, juicy, raw fillet steak, or a lamb chop, or a big piece of sizzling pork.
Never had a craving for crocodile. :-)
I rarely buy meat but I order it as soon as I get in a restaurant - which isn't very often.
I watched that too Pal. We were eight days cruising on the Mekong Delta and each day on board we ate the food of the region according to where we were. So sometimes it would be Colonial and posh and other days simply what there was available on that part of the river.

No! I couldn't eat something that would, given half a chance, eat me. It doesn't seem right - the food chain is violated.
I suppose it depends how hungry we are before we decide to eat things like crocodile and deep fried spiders.
They all taste like chicken!
Gawd - that is enough to turn anyone into a veggie!
Didn't see anything like that on Rick Stein's recent Far Eastern Odyssey!
